Footnotes
REGAL PATRIOT showed the way early on the inside under pressure, cleared on the turn and held safely under a drive. POTITO challenged from inside then got put in tight and steadied early, chased from the rail to the stretch, showed late effort and gained second. SUPERNAL tracked from inside, tipped to the two path on the turn, steered out in upper stretch and got outclosed for second. PIPER'S CAUSEWAY pressed the leader from outside, lost contact with the frontrunner and chased in the two path to the stretch, kept trying to remain within range down the stretch but got outkicked for the place and show. TIGER IN MY TANK raced up close four then three deep early, chased three wide around the bend and weakened. WHERE'S THE LOOT broke a step slow, traveled two wide at the back into the turn, ran into traffic and got carried wide with a quarter mile remaining and could not rally down the stretch. GARRY JOHN coaxed along early from out of range, went two wide into the turn, lugged out at the quarter pole, came four wide into the stretch and weakened. GOLDEN RIVER traveled four wide near the back into the turn, got forced wide at the quarter pole and failed to be a factor.
