Footnotes
SIR ROCKET bumped leaving the gate, had to take up between rivals early, moved to the inside, swung out into the lane, rallied from outside and surged late to overhaul CASE HIT in the final moments. CASE HIT grabbed the early lead and crossed over, set the pace under pressure from outer rival, dueled around the turn, resisted into deep stretch and was overtaken approaching the wire. TRAVELIN' SHOW stalked between rivals up the backstretch, chased in the two path on the turn, moved out in the lane, rallied between rivals and gained the show honors. BELLY UP pressed from outside, dueled around the turn, lost touch with CASE HIT past the eighth pole, chased into the final sixteenth and came back on late. CATMANSUE got bumped early, stalked from inside up the backstretch and around the turn, pursued within striking distance down the lane but finished evenly late. MISCHIEFS CAUSEWAY got squeezed between rivals early, chased from off the pace on the inside and weakened. TOPSTITCH stalked the top pair three deep to the turn, started to weaken around the bend and tired. SHARONA'S WILD BOY was forced to check between rivals early, trailed off the rail through the turn and failed to menace. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INVOLVING SEVERAL RUNNERS EARLY AND RULED THAT THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
