OM N JOY settled off the pace in the opening stages, closed in under urging from the two path around the turn, surged clear in upper stretch, then drew off when asked right handed midstretch and was in hand approaching the wire. HOT GIRL WALK dropped off the pace early, went two wide into the turn, advanced while angling out around the bend, spun five wide into the lane, rallied into inside the eighth pole but was no match for the winner. LADY MENDELSSOHN followed in range off the rail then three deep between rivals into the turn, asked three wide around the bend, altered out a bit at the top of the lane and earned the show honors. IN THE AIR TONIGHT traveled near the back in the early going and steered to the inside, tipped three wide on the turn before returning to the inside, moved out again in upper stretch and got outkicked for third. GOING DEEP forwardly placed from inside, tipped two then three wide on the turn under asking and weakened in the drive. FIBONACCIS RIDE chased from off the pace fur wide leaving the backstretch, angled in past the five-sixteenths pole and failed to threaten. HURRICANE LAYLA sprinted clear and showed the way early, ridden along the rail through the turn, yielded when confronted by the winner in upper stretch and gave way. COOLING OFF trailed along the inside into the turn, tipped two wide at the quarter pole, angled five wide into the lane and passed tired rivals. ELLEN JORTH stalked outside a rival then four deep to the turn, remained wide to the stretch and faded down the lane. DRINK THIS CUP stalked the lone leader outside a rival, got crowded between runners and steadied at the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back after and had little left for the drive.
