BOSS SULLY dueled from outside, kept the heat on VIRAT into the final furlong, fought on even terms again entering the last sixteenth and dug in to edge the runner-up. VIRAT dueled from inside, inched ahead late on the bend, fought on even terms under hand urging into deep stretch, asked right handed once overtaken by the winner and held second. SORRENTO SKY (IRE) hopped a bit at the start, stalked between rivals in the two path, tipped out at the top of the lane, finished determinedly and missed second. DANIEL'S MAGIC stalked the top pair inside a pair of rivals, hugged the rail to the stretch, finished willingly down the lane but lacked the needed late punch. SUMTER stalked the dueling leaders three deep to the stretch and weakened.
