MONDEGO (GB) was a bit keen between runners early racing off the pace, shifted nearer the rail and settled down heading toward the second turn, saved ground there and the third bend, rallied inside in deep stretch to just get up. BRITISH ISLES stalked then pressed the pace close up and outside two to three wide, bid coming to the top of the stretch taking a narrow lead, was nailed late. DICEY MO CHARA (GB) tracked up close inside saving ground throughout racing willingly and in hand, was asked for more past the quarter pole, came out four wide in upper stretch for room, loomed a threat but lacked the needed late kick. PHOSPHORESCENCE (FR) was shaken up at the start moving straight to the front, set the pace from off the rail then put to rating tactics to dictate a measured tempo, was shadowed by an outside rival throughout, was put to urging outside the quarter pole, overtaken at the top of the stretch, yielded late. LAMMAS (GB) settled outside off the pace racing mostly three wide through all three turns, swung out leaving the final bend coming into upper stretch four wide, tipped out further, ran on mildly outside to improve. PACKS A WAHLOP was rank early fighting the rider's restraint while caught about four wide around the first turn, settled down later on that bend and tucked in behind slightly nearer the rail stalking outside foes two to three deep and just off the leaders, advanced four wide on the third turn, was forced out a bit in the stretch and ran on evenly late. IRISH PROPHET settled mid-division near the inside but mostly in the two to three path, came into upper stretch four wide, failed to rally. LAHAINA FLAVOR was in tight soon after the break and taken up slightly, settled at the rear inside switching out heading past the wire for the first time, settled at the rear outside, trailed coming to the top of the stretch, swung out four wide, failed to produce a bid.
