GLORIOUS LIFE broke sharply but was soon overtaken for the lead, chased that new leader from outside, was put to stout urging at the top of the stretch, surged to the lead outside the sixteenth pole and won going away. JACK FISH was quick to take the lead and move just clear, set the pace, was overtaken in mid-stretch, proved no match but second best. NAP was forwardly-placed inside, chased in behind the leaders, could not match strides with that pair but held show. LITTLE RAYMOND broke inwardly, chased mid-pack, shifted in leaving the backstretch, saved ground inside on the turn, angled out at the top of the stretch, improved position. WAR SWIFT was well back off the pace near but off the fence, went two to three wide through the turn, improved in the stretch. TIGER SMILING chased from inside the second flight, came out a bit late on the turn taking slightly closer order on the leaders, weakened in the stretch. BENNY'S PUZZLE broke a step slowly and in tight, brought up the rear near but off the rail, came out in the stretch and improved position between runners. OAKLEY'S SMILE chased in the back half of the field, altered outside a rival past the quarter pole, came into stretch four wide, ran on. LIGHT DRAGOON was outpaced early, raced outside on the turn mostly three to four wide, came out further in the stretch, was never near enough to threaten. BANKIN ON JONATHAN chased from outside the second flight, faltered and faded. UNCROWNED KING chased from between, stumbled near the quarter pole, was pulled up and transported off the course via equine ambulance. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
