PRIDE OF QUEENS broke out and bumped, brushed with outer rival early and shifted in, began to climb and dropped further back, went four wide into the turn, six wide into the stretch, closed fast from outside and overhauled FIRE LLE in deep stretch. FIRE ILE broke in and bumped, tracked out of range off the rail, ridden along two then three wide on the turn, drew alongside the leader inside the eighth pole and quickly took over, challenged by PRIDE OF QUEENS in the last sixteenth and offered no resistance to that rival. ALLURING VALENTINE chased three deep between rivals then two wide into the turn, moved into the three path briefly then came back to the two path, chased within striking distance entering the final furlong but could not summon the needed late kick. CHEEKWOOD got pinballed leaving the gate, crowded between rivals early, chased from off the pace, spun three wide into the lane and kept trying for a minor award. DRAGON KAT brushed the outer side of the gate, sprinted clear and moved to the inside, led a bit off the rail into the drive, challenged past the eighth pole, yielded shortly after and weakened in the final sixteenth. DEVIL'S BELLA chased between rivals in the early going, started to climb past the half-mile pole and lost ground, traveled next to the fence on the turn and could not rally. CALL ME SUSIE veered out leaving the gate, chased four then three deep up the backstretch, asked three to four wide on the turn and tired. LITTLE TINKER ELLE stumbled for a few strides out of the gate and got bumped on both sides, chased inside rivals to the turn, saved ground through the bend, drifted in a bit and almost hit the rail in upper stretch and tired in the final furlong.
