TARIFF showed early speed three deep then took a stalking position in the two path, moved inside on the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn, tipped out and bumped in upper stretch, bid through a tight spot between foes shortly after, dueled inside EARNED NOT GIVEN in the final furlong and dug in to prevail. EARNED NOT GIVEN sat well off the pace on the inside early, asked to pick in up on the backstretch while moving off the fence, followed in range on the far turn two, three, then four wide, drifted in while taking over in upper stretch, shifted back out at the eighth pole, dueled outside TARIFF in the furlong grounds and just missed. COMININALITTLEHOT showed early speed between rivals then moved inside to stalk the speed, lost ground on the backstretch, roused on the fence entering the lane, lacked room in upper stretch, gained a clear path and finished well to gain the show. BACKDOOR ROYALTY tracked from inside, fell off the pace in the middle stages, trailed around the far turn, angled out in upper stretch, came with a late run but was outkicked for third. CURVINO tracked three then four deep on the clubhouse turn, chased two then three wide on the second bend, got put in tight while trying to challenge in upper stretch and had to steady, then kept on once in the clear. MALA trailed in the two path on the first turn, raced outside a rival into the far turn, steered to the four path around the bend, angled out further in the drive and passed tired rivals. BROTHER TONY stalked between runners then started to pull the rider along on the clubhouse turn, went up to challenge for the lead on the backstretch, fought head to head around the far turn, carried a short lead into the lane, lost command in upper stretch and weakened. TYPHOON TOMMY vied inside a pair of rivals then took control on the first turn, headed on the backstretch, dueled around the far turn, relinquished the lead entering the lane and folded.
