Footnotes
DEL MAR JERRY sprinted clear in the two path, set the pace in hand, opened up on the far turn near the inside, entered the lane a bit off the rail and remained well clear while kept busy to the wire. GHAZAALY reserved in the early going on the inside, raced in the two path into the far turn, found the rail again on the turn, chased after the leader determinedly in the stretch and finished a clear second. FATHER DELAY prominent early three wide into the first turn, crept closer in the middle stages staying off the rail, rounded the far turn two to three wide, weakened down the lane but was able to hold third. SHORTMAN dropped off the pace four, three, then two wide on the first turn, trailed into the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn and lacked a rally. MOOSE MITCHELL went five wide into the first turn, angled to the three path while reserved, remained three wide into the second bend, moved in a bit before angling to the four path on that turn and had little left for the stretch run. COWBOY MIKE chased six wide into the first turn then angled to the four path, settled off the pace, moved into range outside rivals on the backstretch, started to weaken four then three wide on the far turn, went two wide into the lane and faded.
