Footnotes
BAELA dueled from inside, cleared JUDITH with three furlongs remaining, came under threat from that rival again entering the lane, resisted through the lane and gamely prevailed. JUDITH dueled from outside, chased two wide around the turn, re-bid at the three-sixteenths pole, fought head to head down the lane and got denied. HEADS IN BEDS (FR) stalked off the rail up the backstretch, rounded the bend two to three wide, loomed from outside in upper stretch, could not summon the needed late kick but was still a game third. CAITLIN FEVER unhurried in the beginning, chased two wide into the turn, found the rail, angled out late on the bend, summoned a mild rally and rounded out the superfecta. WILDFIRE PRINCESS came away alertly then paused when the winner came in a bit early, settled off the pace on the inside, tipped out into the lane and failed to threaten. BLAME EVE lacked early speed from inside, saved ground around the bend, moved out in the lane and passed tired rivals. VINALIA (GB) was well placed in the early going, stalked along the inside into the turn, followed behind the winner to the stretch, given her cue at the top of the lane but weakened through the final furlong. TUPELO was hustled from the gate, chased three wide into the turn, dropped back around the bend, got floated out into the lane and weakened.
