Footnotes
MAX CIAO bumped with outer rival leaving the gate, raced up close three deep, challenged the top pair from outside at the quarter pole, cleared four wide into the lane, then drew off under right handed urging and was ridden out late. SOUTHERN MELODEE followed in range well off the rail, navigated the turn four then five wide, chased after the winner through the lane but could only best the rest. ANOTHER BULLEIT broke a step slow, saved ground from off the pace, made progress through the turn on the inside, lacked room and checked in upper stretch, gained a clear path but shifted in and almost hit the rail midstretch, then kept on to gain the show honors. MOONSHINER challenged for command from inside, fought inside a pair of rivals with a quarter mile remaining, yielded to MAX CIAO entering the lane and flattened to fourth. PAVEL'S TREASURE got bumped and lost his path leaving the gate, chased three deep from off the pace into the turn, swung five to six wide late on the bend and lacked a rally. FOREVER BEN broke quickly and inward, showed early foot then stalked up the backstretch while angling to the inside, tipped three wide around the bend and weakened. WORLD NEWS was off slow and broke out but was quickly corrected, lagged behind on the inside into the turn, trailed two wide into the lane and never made an impact. FUMANO'S MAGIC was off slow to begin, chased from off the pace off the rail then between rivals, asked two wide late on the turn and failed to respond. TOMMY NORRIS dueled from outside, held a short lead between rivals at the quarter pole, yielded to the winner leaving the bend and folded.
