Footnotes
FANCY FACTS bobbled leaving the gate but recovered quickly and went to the front, crossed over once in the clear, led next to the fence around the bend, roused while moving off the rail into the lane and stayed clear under right handed encouragement and strong handling. GODAVRI was closest in pursuit of the pacesetter from inside, eased over to the two path at the quarter pole, chased determinedly through the lane but had to settle for second best. ZIP ME UP was off slow from outside, raced outside a rival near the back of the pack, continued two wide to the stretch and gained the show honors. GRIEVOUS ANGEL broke a step slow, sat off the pace on the inside, was forced to take up entering the turn, lacked room around the bend, tipped out into the lane, moved out further in the drive and kept on to earn a minor award. VRONAWAY chased four then three deep early, rounded the bend in the four then three path and weakened down the lane. ONLY AFTER MIDNITE broke a step slow, lacked early speed while moving inside, angled out at the quarter pole, chased three wide into the lane and failed to make an impact. LUNAR RIDE chased in range between rivals then off the rail, angled in at the three-eighths pole, lost ground around the bend, cut the corner into the lane, bumped with SCROLL UP in upper stretch and weakened. SCROLL UP hopped slightly when gates opened, chased between rivals to the turn, moved inside with a quarter mile remaining, bumped with LUNAR RIDE in upper stretch and tired.
