GLASS OF JAMESON traveled on the inside at the rear into the turn, shifted to the two path late on the bend, angled out and went between runners in upper stretch, bumped with DON'T FLY STAND BY at the eighth pole, battled into deep stretch and dug in to edge the runner-up. TARGARYIS broke in a bit, pursued in range from inside, crept closer under asking on the turn, cut the corner into the lane, tipped out in upper stretch, bid between rivals entering the last sixteenth and got edged by the winner. DON'T FLY STAND BY chased well off the rail, four deep then fouru wide on the turn, drew closer while bumping with GLASS OF JAMESON with a furlong left to run and got outkicked by the top pair in deep stretch. MR. MACHUPICCHU established the front quickly and set the tone early under pressure, dueled from inside around the turn, kicked clear into the stretch, collared by a rivals at the sixteenth pole and could not hold on. WINDS OF FREEDOM bobbled leaving the gate, raced outside a rival at the back early on, got shuffled to last at the five-sixteenths pole, tipped five wide into the clear and churned on to improve position. TOUGHNESS pressed the pace from outside, moved up on even terms on the turn, could not sustain the challenge entering the lane, stayed within range to the sixteenth pole and weakened late. PANUCO broke in and bumped HEBER, raced up close between, took the turn three then four wide and weakened. HEBER got bumped by PANUCO leaving the gate, chased under coaxing from off the rail, lost ground two to three wide on the turn and faded.
