Footnotes
BAD UNCLE BARRY raced in range between rivals, tipped three wide at the quarter pole, chased within striking distance into deep stretch, surged late and overhauled the runner-up. GOLDEN ALE grabbed the lead from inside, came off the rail into the lane, led clear into the last sixteenth and got run down by the winner late. REGAL PATRIOT forward pace three deep then outside a rival in the early going, remained two wide around the far turn, took aim at the leader into deep stretch, put in a late bid but lacked the needed final kick. ANMER HALL stalked the speed from between rivals, got bumped and floated out early on the turn, returned to the two path, moved out in the lane and summoned a mild rally. OUR BUCKY CHARM stalked from inside, ridden along through the turn, asked left handed in the lane and failed to produce a bid. DANCING RINCA was hard to load behind the gate, trailed on the inside into the turn, lacked room and had to steady between the five-sixteenths and quarter pole, continued next to the fence to the stretch and kept trying to the wire. KANGAROO COURT tracked three deep into the turn, four wide late on the bend and weakened in the drive. SHARP AZA TACK coaxed along from off the pace and moved inside, clipped heels then shifted out and bumped a rival early on the turn, had to steady behind ANMER HALL near the quarter pole, went two wide into the lane and could not make an impact. THE OLD NINE (IRE) traveled outside a pair of rivals toward the back, got floated out early on the turn, went three wide into the lane and never got involved. VANCOUGAR broke in air and unseated the rider at the start and walked off. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY LOOKING INTO THE START OF VANCOUGAR AND RULED HE CAUSED HIS OWN PROBLEMS AT THE START AND IS CONSIDERED A STARTER.
