Footnotes
THE WHITE LADY (FR) raced in range outside rivals then moved to the two path, closed in while tipping out on the far turn, loomed three wide turning for home, drew alongside RUGELACH with a sixteenth remaining and proved best in the end. RUGELACH stepped to the front and moved across to the rail once clear of inner rival, controlled the pace to the top of the lane, roused in upper stretch, remained clear under right handed encouragement to midstretch, got reeled in by the winner at the sixteenth pole and yielded late. ESMERAY (IRE) tracked two wide then found the rail, raced in mid-pack up the backstretch, tipped two then three wide on the far turn and bested the rest. GRECIAN GODDESS raced on the inside off the pace, between rivals into the far turn, ran into mild traffic and had to alter to the inside, produced a mild rally in the lane and earned a minor award. LAUDATORY trailed two wide then along the inside, rounded the far turn in the two path, angled out under left handed urging in the drive and also summoned a mild rally. SAKURA FLAVOR (IRE) was antsy in the gate, traveled on the inside towards the rear, angled four wide late on the far turn and lacked further response. SHY ANN settled on the rail then moved into the two path on the first turn, angled five wide into the stretch, altered out a bit in upper stretch and failed to threaten. SHE'S A JOKER traveled outside a rival then three deep on the clubhouse turn, stayed off the rail to the second bend, got forced out to the six path approaching the stretch and could not rally. GYPSY WOMAN (IRE) stalked from inside, coaxed around the far turn stil next to the fence and tired. DRUM ROLL became fractious in the gate, showed early speed inside the leader then stalked keenly in hand, moved off the rail to the two path, continued to give chase two wide through the far turn and faded down the lane.
