JOINT VENTURE vied inside a pair of rivals around the first turn and up the backstretch, dueled with CONTRARY CHIEFTAIN around the far turn, battled down the lane and dug in to prevail. CONTRARY CHIEFTAIN vied between rivals to the seven-sixteenths pole, dueled around the far turn, fought with JOINT VENTURE down the lane, could not summon the needed final kick to get by but was clearly second best. FOUR O SIX CREED stalked from inside, asked along the rail then shifted to the two path on the far turn, remained in range through the lane but failed to threaten the top pair. ZIMBA WARRIOR chaserd five wide outside a rival on the first turn, elected to remained wide up the backstretch, lost ground through the far turn, came four wide into the lane and weakened. GET HER NUMBER stalked two then three wide, asked in the three path on the far turn and weakened. LIL RICHARDS BELLO settled on the inside, saved ground under asking on the far turn and could not make an impact. DELIAN LEAGUE hopped at the start, lagged behind in the two path early, angled four wide early on the far turn then came back to the two path and was never a factor. MOTHER'S PRAYER vied three deep in the opening rounds, lost contact with the top pair leaving the backstretch, dropped back on the far turn and tired.
