Footnotes
GRAND SLAM SMILE took control quickly and moved inside, controlled the pace to the far turn, took mild pressure from SNEAKER early on the far turn before moving clear again, showed the way under right handed urging into the final furlong, came under threat from SNEAKER in the final sixteenth and held gamely. SNEAKER was closest in pursuit from the two path, drew alongside the leader from outside at the three-eighths pole but could not sustain the challenge and chased two wide to the lane, followed in range into deep stretch, dug in to challenge GRAND SLAM SMILE late but could not get by. CORNELIA FORT settled in the two path, chased two then three wide on the far turn and finished well to gain third. WINK AND A GRIN dropped back and tucked inside, waited behind rivals around the far turn, tipped out and split foes in upper stretch, angled out and kept on to round out the superfecta. PRANCINGTHRUPARIS tracked along the inside out of range, angled three wide into the lane and could not rally. MOMENT'S PLEASURE bobbled slightly leaving the gate, steadied between rivals early on the first turn, became rank around the bend and fought the rider early on the backstretch, raced outside a rival at the back into the far turn, found the rail around that bend, moved out in the lane and passed tired rivals. CALIFORNIA ROCKS traveled three then four deep early, chased three wide around the far turn, altered out slightly in upper stretch and was never a factor. ONLY ONE AMERICA settled inside, hugged the rail to the stretch and lacked the needed response when called upon. HOT GIRL WALK drifted a bit while pulling on the first turn then went between runners, continued two wide between foes on the far turn and failed to make an impact.
