Footnotes
NAVAJO WARRIOR dueled inside a rival into the first turn, raced keenly then had to steady when put in tight around the bend, bid inside midway up the backstretch, got put in tight early on the far turn, re-bid from outside at the five-sixteenths pole, dueled to the stretch, battled down the lane and drove clear late. BOLT'S TREASURE dueled from outside then took control and crossed over to the rail on the clubhouse turn, took pressure from NAVAJO WARRIOR on the backstretch, cleared that rival early on the far turn, challenged once again by that rival at the five-sixteenths pole, raced on even terms into the lane, resisted into deep stretch and yielded grudgingly in the end. DADDY JUSTIFY stalked along the rail then shifted to the two path on the clubhouse turn, chased between into the backstretch, ridden along in the two path entering the far turn, remained a bit off the rail to the stretch and weakened. BROADWAY UNIONS bobbled leaving the gate, trailed along the rail early, exited the backstretch in the four path, closed in around the far turn, spun three wide into the lane and flattened out in the furlong grounds. MONGOLIAN GOLD settled in the three path, trailed outside a rival in the middle stages, angled in to save ground on the far turn and was never a factor. MONGOLIAN MAX tracked two then three wide around the clubhouse turn, asked left handed leaving the backstretch, navigated the far turn three then four wide and tired in the stretch run.
