Footnotes
IRISH CORN set the pace inside a pair of rivals early, cleared at the three-eighths pole, remained unchallenged into deep stretch and held over the late run from the runner-up. NEWS AT TEN (GB) got put in tight between rivals early, tracked from inside, ran up on heels and lacked room around the bend, tipped out and bumped rival in upper stretch, surged late from outside but ran out of ground. OSCAR JOY broke a step slow, trailed in the opening stages, rounded the bend two then three wide, moved out in the lane and was along for the show. SEISMIC SPIRIT (IRE) raced up close three deep, chased the lone leader outside a rival into the turn, continued two wide to the lane and weakened. TRANCHE coaxed from the gate but had to pause when losing his path early, moved to the inside, saved ground to the stretch and passed tired rivals. MO GOLD tracked the speed outside a rival, tipped three wide on the turn, got bumped by inner rival in upper stretch and weakened. PLEASE FOCUS pressed the pace from between rivals early, chased two wide into the turn, moved over to the rail quickly and weakened down the lane.
