Footnotes
QUEEN MAXIMA followed in range between rivals, shifted in and bumped NAY V BELLE then had to steady behind GREAT VENEZUELA at the three-eighths pole, chased two then three wide on the turn, angled out and drew alongside SHOOT IT TRUE past the eighth pole, raced on even terms into the deep stretch and edged clear approaching the wire. SHOOT IT TRUE tracked the leaders outside a pair of rivals, drew closer three wide around the bend, put a head in front in upper stretch, confronted by QUEEN MAXIMA past the eighth pole and got outkicked in the final sixteenth. NAY V BELLE stalked the pace inside rivals, took a bump from QUEEN MAXIMA leaving the backstretch, saved ground through the turn, waited for room at the top of the lane, then finished willingly once in the clear to gain third. GREAT VENEZUELA vied between rivals in the early going, failed to keep up with the top pair into the turn, chased in the two path around the bend and kept trying down the lane to earn minor award. MARIAN CROSS (GB) vied three deep up the backstretch, dueled outside JUNGLE PEACE (IRE) on the turn, fought between in upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. OMNIPONTET (BRZ) trailed on the inside, moved to the two path then came back to the rail on the bend, steered out in the lane and passed a tired rival. JUNGLE PEACE (IRE) fought for the lead inside a pair of rivals, dueled with MARIAN CROSS (GB) around the bend, fought to the eighth pole and weakened in the furlong grounds.
