CY FAIR chased after the lone leader between rivals early, was closest in pursuit in the two path around the bend, challenged from outside in upper stretch, took over past the eighth pole, put SCHWARZENEGGER away at the sixteenth pole and held safely under a drive. BRUSSELS (GB) was off slow from the inside, passed a pair of rivals up the backstretch, advanced in the two path on the turn, split rivals at the eighth pole, closed well to gain second but could not reach the winner. ASPECT ISLAND (GB) had to steady by CY FAIR early, tracked along the rail into the turn, driven two wide into the lane, finished determinedly down the stretch but got outkicked for the place honors. OBLITERATION raced up close inside a pair of rivals, hugged the rail to the stretch, angled out a bit at the sixteenth pole and finished evenly late. SCHWARZENEGGER sprinted clear and cut across, showed the way along the inside through the turn, took pressure from CY FAIR in upper stretch, relinquished the lead past the eighth pole and weakened in deep stretch. LATER THAN PLANNED (IRE) unhurried in the early going, went three deep into the turn, trailed two wide into the stretch, split foes entering the final furlong and improved position. LENNILU was forwardly placed three deep up the backstretch, ridden along still in the three path on the turn and weakened down the lane. TRUE LOVE (IRE) broke a step slow, settled five deep early, moved into the four path on the turn, came out and traveled seven wide into the stretch, then failed to offer the needed response when called upon. INTRICATE SPIRIT chased between rivals just out of range to the turn, exited the bend three to four wide and failed to rally. MISSION CENTRAL (IRE) raced in mid-pack three deep between rivals, chased four to five wide turning for home and also lacked a rally. ROYAL TESTAMENT settled along the inside, got put in a bit tight past the half-mile pole, dropped back to last leaving the backstretch, advanced from the rail around the turn but flattened out in the stretch. HAVANA ANNA (GB) tracked four deep into the turn, entered the lane five to six wide and weakened.
