Footnotes
BALANTINA (IRE) was off slow to begin, reserved along the inside, gained while continuing to save ground through the far turn, moved off the fence a bit entering the lane and had to pause briefly in traffic, cut to the inside at the eighth pole, quickly challenged GROUND SUPPORT and drove clear in deep stretch. PACIFIC MISSION (GB) broke slow from the far outside, traveled outside a rival at the back of the field into the first turn, moved inside in the middle stages, patiently handled around the far turn, waited for room in upper stretch, was given her cue at the eighth pole, finished well in the last sixteenth and got up for second. GROUND SUPPORT was a bit rank and brushed with outer rival into the first turn, traveled in mid-pack up the backstretch, moved into range approaching the far turn, launched her bid past the three-eighths pole, drew clear in upper stretch, challenged by BALANTINA (IRE) past the eighth pole, yielded to that rival in deep stretch and lost second late. IMAGINATIONTHELADY broke in and bumped, unhurried after in the two path or outside a rival, bumped between rivals at the five-sixteenths pole, drew closer while angling out on the far turn, chased within striking distance down the lane but finished evenly late. ULTIMATE LOVE took a bump in the beginning, laid off the pace on the inside, crept closer in the middle stages, shifted out and bumped at the five-sixteenths pole and failed to summon the needed late kick in the stretch. INFINITE SKY traveled near the back of the pack in the two path in the early going, ridden along two then three wide on the far turn, tipped out into the stretch and offered a mild response down the lane. QUEEN OF HAWAII (IRE) turned her head and was off slow leaving the gate, trailed on the inside through both turns, kept trying down the lane and passed tired rivals. CELEBRITY WARRIOR (IRE) was closest in pursuit from inside then moved a bit off the rail, challenged the leader from outside with three furlong remaining, took over between rivals past the quarter pole, yielded to GROUND SUPPORT in upper stretch and folded. FINAL ACCORD tracked the speed from inside, drew closer on the backstretch, waited for room behind the leaders through the far turn and faded down the lane. TIME TO DREAM raced three wide near the back around the first turn, traveled outside a rival on the backstretch, got bumped three deep at the five-sixteenths pole, angled out and exited the bend in the six path, then weakened in the drive. SWITCH IN LOVE (JPN) stepped to the front and set the pace from inside, took pressure at the three-eighths pole, lost command late on the far turn and gave way. BRAVE DEB brushed three deep into the first turn, stayed off the rail to the second bend, lost positions and came five wide into the lane and had little left for the stretch run.
