Footnotes
TED NOFFEY came away in good order, settled off of the pace under a snug hold, shadowed BRANT through the second turn and into the lane, wrestled control away inside the quarter pole, edged clear and held stubbornly. MR. A. P. attended the pace toward the inside, moved with the winner leaving the second turn, shifted out entering the stretch, kept on well but was kept at bay. BRANT set the pressured pace along the inside, was collared leaving the second turn, dug in once headed but was unable to resist. LITMUS TEST stalked the pace in hand outside, was within striking distance three wide entering the lane, but failed to make headway. INTREPIDO broke a step slow, was unhurried toward the inside, but lacked a response when called upon. COMPORT was in hand off of the inside, but failed to respond when asked.
