MAGNUM FORCE (IRE) moved inside racing towards the rear in the early going, rounded the bend two wide then found the rail late on the turn, closed in past the eighth pole, tipped out and drew alongside GOVERNOR SAM with a sixteenth remaining, seized command shortly after and held ARIZONA BLAZE (GB) at bay. ARIZONA BLAZE (GB) chased out of range and moved inside, bumped with outer rival at the three-eighths pole, stayed inside then tipped two wide into the lane, steered out in upper stretch, rallied from outside in deep stretch but got outclosed by the winner. GOVERNOR SAM vied outside several rivals then cleared leaving the backstretch and moved inside, headed again early on the turn, carried a short advantage into the lane, drew clear again outside the eighth pole, challenged by the winner with a sixteenth left to run and got outkicked by the top pair in the end. BIG MOJO (IRE) fought for the lead early between rivals then got bumped and put in tight at the seven-sixteenths pole, moved up to challenge again between rivals early on the turn but got crowded at the five-sixteenths pole, chased two to three wide into the lane, then came back on late and finished gamely to the wire. WHISTLEJACKET (IRE) trailed inside rivals early, exited the bend in the two path, finished with a late rally and improved position. AESTERIUS (IRE) sent early and fought inside rivals before getting put in tight at the seven-sixteenths pole, steadied off heels at the three-eighths marker, saved ground to the stretch, tipped out in the lane, finished willingly between and got put in a bit tight late halting all momentum. IDES OF MARCH (IRE) was off a bit slow to begin, checked between rivals at the back at the three-eighths pole, swung out into the lane and failed to threaten. ECORO SIEG showed early speed before getting crowded early, bumped while chasing between foes at the three-eighths pole, went two to three wide around the turn and weakened. JET SWEEP JOE raced up close between rivals, got bumped and crowded leaving the backstretch, challenged again quickly early on the bend, fought to upper stretch and retreated. GATE TO WIRE chased outside rivals out of range, bothered by a rival leaving the backstretch, spun three wide into the lane and lacked the needed response. PALI KITTEN coaxed along outside rivals off the pace, raced three deep at the back into the turn, got floated out into the lane and failed to make an impact. SHAREHOLDER showed early speed then got crowded early and dropped back to chase, had to take up at the seven-sixteenths pole, brushed early on the turn, came four wide into the lane and weakened.
