Footnotes
IMMERSIVE settled between rivals, launched her bid midway through the second turn, took dead aim at the leaders entering the stretch, struck the front nearing the furlong marker and quickly drew away. VODKA WITH A TWIST was forwardly placed along the inside, tipped out a bit inside the five-sixteenths pole, split rivals and gained command leaving the second turn, was unable to go on with the winner, but fought on doggedly to preserve the runner up spot. QUICKICK broke a bit slow and was crowded at the start, was unhurried into stride, came under a ride with three furlongs to run, made a sweeping move four wide and finished willingly to earn the minor award. SCOTTISH LASSIE contended three wide, moved up to engage the leaders nearing the quarter pole, loomed a danger but flattened during the drive. LA CARA was allowed to settle, moved up some on the second turn three deep but failed to seriously threaten. NOONI sprinted clear to dictate terms, but came up empty once headed leaving the second turn and gave way readily. OTOMENA SHACHO was never a factor. SNOWYTE saved ground to no avail. AMERICAN BIKINI (JPN) was nearest the pace three wide, but faltered between horses on the second turn and dropped out.
