SUCHET (FR) reserved in the opening stages on the inside, drew closer in the two path on the far turn, tipped out and bumped entering the lane, stormed to the front midstretch and won going away under hand urging. KANSAS CAT (ARG) showed early speed then ceded command first time through the stretch, was closest in pursuit to the far turn, drew alongside the leader with a quarter mile left to run, put ahead in front in upper stretch, could not offer any resistance to SUCHET (FR) midstretch and managed to save second. MOONLIT SONATA angled to the inside early while forwardly placed, steadied a bit behind the pulling leader into the first turn, continued in range along the rail, chased two wide into the stretch, kept on through the final furlong and failed to get by KANSAS CAT (ARG) for the place. BALDORO tracked from the two path to the far turn, eased over to the three path around the bend, got bumped and moved out a bit by the winner coming into the stretch, could not produce a bid but was able to stay on for a minor award. MONTEREY BAY traveled in the two path in the mid-pack, ridden into range while angling out on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch and lacked the needed late kick. ZALAMO (FR) tucked inside at the back of the pack, hugged the rail to the stretch, moved off the fence in the lane and showed a mild rally to advance positions. BIG BET JAFINSAFA raced on the inside near the back, came under a ride on the far turn while continuing to save ground, tipped out at the top of the lane and failed to menace. ONE OF THESE DAYS (IRE) allowed to settle in the early stages next to the rail, moved into range on the second bend, cut the corner into the stretch and needed to find more in the furlong grounds. TIME SONG raced up close leaving the chute then took control first time through the stretch, pulled into the first turn, led unchallenged up the backstretch, tested by outer rival at the quarter pole, lost command in upper stretch and weakened. RUSSELLS HUSTLE unhurried in the opening stages and moved to the two path, tipped thre wide around the far turn and failed to make an impact. WE CAN was fractious in the gate, traveled outside a rival towards the rear, asked two wide around the far turn and was never a factor.
