Footnotes
SOUL OF AN ANGEL was slow into stride, lagged well back, came under a ride with seven-sixteenths to run, picked off foes readily through the turn, looped into the stretch five wide, dug in under left handed urging and nailed her rivals in the final strides. SOCIETY came away in good order, contested the pace between horses, was bumped when WAYS AND MEANS was bounced out, jostled between runners a furlong out, fought on determinedly but was unable to resist the winner. PLEASANT disputed the pace along the inside through a prolonged drive, came out a bit bumping WAYS AND MEANS near the furlong marker, battled on but grudgingly gave in. SCYLLA tracked three wide, ranged up to engage the leaders leaving the turn four wide, was bumped when SOCIETY was bounced around in the drive, kept on but relented in the final yards. WAYS AND MEANS stalked the pace off of the inside, split foes leaving the turn, was bumped between horses in the drive, kept on well but succumbed. ONE MAGIC PHILLY attended the pace along the inside, got through entering the stretch, shifted out searching for room behind a wall of horses, but went evenly in the late stages. ZEITLOS stalked the pace, came three wide to make her bid, but flattened entering the stretch and faded. VAHVA settled off of the inside but lacked a response when called upon. FROST AT DAWN stumbled at the start, moved up along the inside, but came up empty on the turn and dropped out.
