Footnotes
WHISKYGINANDBRANDY prompted the pace from outside, seized control at the quarter pole, put away inner rival shortly after, met the challenge from LETMEIN in upper stretch, turned that rival outside the sixteenth pole and was kept busy to the line. LETMEIN bumped leaving the gate, climbed for a bit early, chased off the inside, rounded the bend in the three path, drew alongside the winner in upper stretch but was turned away. ONE SMOKIN DUDE chased the top pair to the turn, asked along the rail then two wide around the bend, tipped out a bit into the lane then moved back inward and flattened in the late stages. RIDING BY was off slow to begin, disliked the kickback and was climbing early, brushed by inner rival and checked at the half-mile pole, took the turn two to three wide, had the rider lose the crop entering the lane and could not threaten. HOTHEAD set the pace under pressure from outer rival, lost command at the quarter pole, yielded shortly after and gave way in the lane. CANDY CRUSHER brushed with outer rival at the start, chased from inside, drifted out to brush RIDING BY near the half-mile pole, saved ground to the lane and weakened.
