Footnotes
CHASIN MUNNY sat off the pace in the early going, went three wide into the turn, moved into the two path, then steered back out and came five wide into the stretch, reeled in the leader at the sixteenth pole and drove past. CAJUN BROTHER dueled between rivals up the backstretch, held a short leader over rivals on both sides through the turn, cleared in upper stretch, collared by the CHASIN MUNNY at the sixteenth pole and was outfinished in the final fifty yards. CALIFORNIA TIGER lacked early speed, passed a pair of rivals on the turn, moved over to the two path then angled out past the quarter pole and spun four wide into the lane, steered out further in upper stretch, rallied into contention but could not summon the needed late kick. JOE DON LOONEY pressed three deep early, continued three wide through the turn, fought four wide into the lane, could not match strides with CAJUN BROTHER in upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. GOOD VIBES ONLY scrambled leaving the gate but managed to still come away with the field, sent along to fight for command inside rivals, stayed alongside the outer duo around the turn, chased those rivals into the lane and weakened. BLAME GEORGE raced up close close four deep early, chased four wide into the turn, moved into the three path while beginning to lose ground, dropped further back and spun six wide into the lane and weakened in the drive.
