Footnotes
RUN FOR KIDDER dueled from inside, inched ahead leaving the turn, shook free in upper stretch and held off a trio of rivals in the closing moments. STEAK FRIES chased widest up the backstretch, moved into the three path on the turn, spun four wide into the lane, moved out wider in the drive, came with a late run but ran out of ground. SEVAK shifted in to bump leaving the gate, traveled in mid-pack early on and moved inside, steered out and bumped THE SHILLELAGH in upper stretch, rallied between foes late and missed second. PANUCO stalked off the inside, traveled two wide on the turn, angled out and came four wide into the drive, took a bump from inside at the eight pole, put in a late bid but got outkicked for the place and show. PRINCE DOLCE got bumped in the beginning, traveled along the inside towards the rear then moved into the two path on the turn, tipped out into the lane and summoned a mild rally. JUST TRUST ME away quickest, dueled from outside, fought two wide to the top of the lane, yielded to the winner in upper stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. BINGING got knocked around leaving the gate, trailed up the backstretch and moved inside, eased out to the three path on the turn, moved out further in the lane and showed mild late effort. THE SHILLELAGH stalked the top pair on the inside into the turn, eased off the fence and chased three wide into the lane, got bumped by SEVAK at the eight pole, then checked when put in tight shortly after and could not regain momentum. TIMTY broke out and bumped, saved ground from off the pace and failed to menace. NIJINSKY HALO chased three deep then off the inside, got crowded near the five-sixteenths pole, went two wide into the lane and weakened. FOLLOWING AN INQUIRY, THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED SEVAK FROM THIRD TO EIGHTH FOR ANGLING OUT AND CAUSING INTERFERENCE TO THE SHILLELAGH AT THE EIGHTH POLE, COSTING THAT RIVAL A CHANCE AT A BETTER PLACING.
