Footnotes
CLASSICALLY raced up close six deep into the first turn, moved back to give chase and angled into the three path, rounded the far turn in the four path, bid from outside and fought four deep into the final sixteenth, bumped with MINING DISTRICT late and edged that rival in the closing moments. MINING DISTRICT vied five deep into the first turn then took a stalking position outside a pair of rivals on the clubhouse turn, bid three deep on the backstretch, fought three wide to the stretch, put a head in front midstretch, bumped with CLASSICALLY late and yielded grudgingly in the end. ARROMAX sent between rivals and three deep early, dueled around the clubhouse turn, asked to keep up past the seven-sixteenths pole, remained close through the far turn between rivals, re-bid between in the lane but was outfinished by the top pair in deep stretch. BRUCKNER vied between foes into the first turn then dueled from inside, inched ahead at the seven-sixteenths pole, cleared briefly at the quarter pole but was pressured again into the lane, clung to a narrow lead with a furlong remaining, lost command shortly after and weakened late. SILVER N BLACK hustled from the gate, vied between rivals then got put in tight and steadied before the first turn, chased three then two wide, asked while angling out to the five path on the second bend, improved position but was unable to threaten for the major awards. WHATS THE BUZZ fought for the lead briefly inside rivals into the first turn then assumed a stalking position, saved ground through the far turn, driven along the rail into the lane and weakened. SUPREME COAST fractious in the gate, dropped back four then three wide off the pace, coaxed along up the backstretch, passed a pair of rivals on the far turn, turned two wide into the lane, moved out and could not make an impact. TOMORROWNEVERCOMES settled on the inside, trailed into the stretch and never got involved. STICK SHIFT tracked seven deep into the first turn then angled into the four path, remained wide through the far turn, spun five wide into the lane and came up empty. L SQUARED showed early speed four deep then stalked between rivals around the clubhouse turn, lost ground a bit off the rail on the second bend and tired down the lane.
