VENICE VIBE away quickly to take the front, set the pace under pressure from outer rival then raced on even terms leaving the backstretch, inched ahead early on the turn, put away outer rival at the five-sixteenths pole, asked right handed a quarter mile out, drew off into the lane, widened under a drive and was kept busy in deep stretch. HEARTS FANTASY stalked in-hand behind the leader, entered the turn along the rail, roused midway around the bend, tipped out at the quarter pole, could not cut into the winner's lead in the lane but managed to hold second. BUDS N SUDS coaxed from the gate, raced up close two wide under urging into the turn, moved out to the four path around the bend, kept trying through the lane but could not get by HEARTS FANTASY for second. LUCKY NEA forced the pace from outside to the turn, failed to keep up with VENICE VIBE near the five-sixteenths pole, chased off the rail into the stretch and tired. DYIN A THIRST tracked widest up the backstretch, went four wide into the turn, angled over to the inside around the bend and was never a factor. TEH TEH chased three deep early, went three wide into the turn, moved in a bit then angled back out trailing into the stretch, had little left for the drive and was eased in the final furlong.
