Footnotes
PHOSPHORESCENCE (FR) sped clear from outside and crossed over, controlled the pace to the far turn, lightly coaxed around the bend, roused approaching the stretch, asked right hand in the lane and drew away. BEE CATCHER turned his head at the start but still came away with the field, stalked four deep leaving the chute then moved into the two path, was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, followed outside a rival through the far turn, could not summon the needed rally in the lane but was able to secure second. KIMMER stalked between foes leaving the chute then got put in tight entering the lane, settled inside, saved ground to the stretch, moved out in the lane, chased three deep in the last sixteenth and edged ZALAMO (FR) for third. ZALAMO (FR) stalked three deep between rivals leaving the chute, followed in the two path to the far turn, tipped three around that bend, kept on through the lane but got edged between rivals for third. FOR A LAUGH (IRE) stalked along the rail, came under a ride on the far turn, cut the corner into the lane and weakened. HULA CANDY traveled five deep leaving the chute, went three then two wide around the clubhouse turn, remained outside a rival to the stretch, moved out in the lane, weakened in the furlong grounds and wrapped up late.
