PRACTICAL DREAM went up to challenge SILENT LAW for command from inside, inched ahead at the half-mile pole, cleared outer rival early on the turn under coaxing, came under a ride leaving the bend and held safely under left then right handed urging in the final furlong. SILENT LAW broke in and bumped TWO BAR in the beginning, dueled outside PRACTICAL DREAM in the early going, lost touch with the leader early on the turn, followed in the two path to the stretch, chased after the winner determinedly through the drive but had to settle for second best. MAWU stalked the dueling pair outside TWO BAR up the backstretch, navigated the turn three wide and offered a mild response in the lane to whittle the gap late. TWO BAR took a bump from SILENT LAW at the start, stalked the top pair off the rail inside MAWU, saved ground along the rail around the bend and weakened down the lane.
