JIMMY BLUE JEANS took the lead early inside a rival then cleared around the clubhouse turn, set all the pace to the top of the lane, challenged by SARWAR (FR) in upper stretch, drifted out steadily under left handed urging while maintaining a slim lead through the final furlong and gamely prevailed. SARWAR (FR) stalked from inside, loomed two wide leaving the far turn, drew alongside JIMMY BLUE JEANS in upper stretch, dueled while getting floated out through the final furlong and got denied by the winner. REIQUIST settled inside, began to pulled around the clubhouse turn, continued to tug the rider along on the backstretch, tipped off the rail on the far turn, chased three wide into the lane, moved out further and closed well for the show honors. ESCAPE ARTIST reserved from inside then became rank briefly on the clubhouse turn, continued along the fence to the second bend, tipped two wide past the quarter pole, ran into traffic entering the lane, gained a clear path and kept on to round out the superfecta. CASTLE LEOCH broke poorly, reserved and taken to the inside then moved into the two path, raced three deep leaving the backstretch, moved into the two path around the bend and flattened in the furlong grounds. LIVING LIFE traveled outside a rival at the back, asked at the quarter pole, swung out leaving the far turn then drifted out into the lane, straightened away in upper stretch but failed to menace. RED CROSS KNIGHT showed early speed outside the leader into the first turn, took a stalking position in the two path, was closest in pursuit to the five-sixteenths pole, chased three wide into the lane and weakened. ARROWTHEGREAT forwardly placed three deep then moved to the two path quickly on the clubhouse turn, came under a ride while finding the rail on the second bend and weakened in the stretch. FOLLOWING AN INQUIRY, THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED JIMMY BLUE JEANS FROM FIRST TO SECOND FOR DRIFTING OUT IN THE STRETCH AND TAKING SARWAR (FR) OFF HIS PATH, COSTING THAT RIVAL A CHANCE AT A BETTER PLACING.
