Footnotes
SBAGLIATO tucked inside and was reserved through the early stages, moved into range on the far turn, angled four wide late on the bend, bid four deep in upper stretch, drifted in and brushed THIRTY FOUR COUPE at the sixteenth pole and drove clear. THIRTY FOUR COUPE stalked a bit off the rail around the clubhouse turn, raced along the fence into the second bend, drew closer while steered to the three path around the bend, challenged three deep in upper stretch, put a head in front at the eighth pole, got brushed by SBAGLIATO near the sixteenth pole and yielded to that rival. DR. SOULFIRE fractious in the gate, traveled two wide at the back of the pack, moved inside on the backstretch, raced on the rail then shifted back to the two path around the far turn, moved out in the lane and finished with a steady rally to gain third. MEGA MOON was off a bit slow to begin, sat off the pace in the two path, angled five wide around the second bend, produced a mild rally and rounded out the superfecta. LONE SCOUT broke a step slow, went three wide through the first turn located toward the rear, angled six wide on the far turn and also summoned a mild response to improve position. FLINT STROLL fractious in the gate, traveled along the inside well off the pace, gained along the fence on the far turn, tipped out a bit midstretch and needed to find more late. LEGITIFY (IRE) stepped to the front and moved inside, took pressure into the backstretch, raced on even terms to the far turn, fought along the rail through the bend, battled into the furlong grounds and weakened in the late stages. EREBUS steadied behind a rival entering the first turn, trailed on the inside and passed tired rivals down the lane. TOM AND JAZZY settled in the two path out of range, moved out to the four path on the far turn and weakened in the drive. NATIONAL GENERAUX (IRE) stalked three then two wide on the first turn, drew alongside the leader leaving the bend, dueled for command up the backstretch, patiently ridden on the far turn, roused into the lane, yielded in upper stretch and gave way.
