Footnotes
FLASH WEAR tracked along the inside, saved ground before smoothly tipping off of the rail to take aim outside of the clear leader in upper stretch, sustained gradual progress to bid at the sixteenth pole and edged past late. L. A. WOMAN showed the way along the inside, vied with an outer presser passing the five furlong pole, clung to an advantage inside of a trio of foes into the far turn, inched free again entering upper stretch, but was collared by an outer bidder at the sixteenth and got bested. CUE THE DUCKBOATS broke a step slow and was last away at the start, shifted outside of rivals and to the six path approaching the backstretch, tracked while inching closer thereafter, bid four deep into the far turn, prompted around that bend before tucking three wide leaving the five sixteenths pole, but chased while leaning out to the four to five path entering upper stretch, got outkicked by an inner rival at the furlong grounds and yielded. ISLANDER pressed two wide, vied with five furlongs to go, then between horses into and around the far turn, but nearing at the quarter pole. PROMISEMEANEMPIRE broke a step slow, tracked three wide, bid between horses when an outer rival forced her hand nearing the far turn, prompted briefly but weakened turning for home.
