Footnotes
POPPY THE PRINCESS pressed two wide, forged an advantage entering the far turn, inched clear with five sixteenths to go as an outer FLEETINGLY took aim, then held well from that pursuer through the lane. FLEETINGLY laid off of the pace three wide, tracked while advancing down the backstretch, crept closer around the far turn to take aim on the new leader turning for home, but was kept at bay through the final furlong. CLASSY'N CONNECTED tracked along the inside, surpassed an inner rival while chasing turning for home and stayed on evenly. HEART SPIN trailed along the inside, shifted out to the three path entering the backstretch, lacked progress around the far turn then surpassed a tiring rival and failed to threaten the top trio. FAITH UNDERSTOOD showed the way along the inside as the eventual winner applied outer pressure, got headed by that one entering the far turn, faded turning for home and weakened. PURRING pursued two wide and between horses into the backstretch, but retreated to trail at the nine sixteenths pole, was done early and eased through the lane.
