Footnotes
BIG SALT LICK dropped back early on, advanced outside of rivals nearing the turn, progressed in the five path around the bend, sustained his charge to bid at the furlong grounds and edged past leaving the sixteenth pole. WHEN SMOKEY SINGS was brushed by an inner rival leaving the gate, showed speed two wide, led around the turn, met an outer challenge turning for home before shaking free once again reaching the lane, but was collared by an outer rival in the final furlong and was bested passing the sixteenth pole. CAJUN CRUISER leaned inwardly leaving the chute, tracked along the inside, shifted outside of the top pair around the bend, ranged up to bid turning for home, but was turned away nearing the lane, lugged inwardly in upper stretch yet kept on thereafter to hold show. NICO'S DERBY RUN bumped with an inner foe leaving the gate, chased from the three path, moved to the inside around the turn, vacated the rail while sustaining stride in upper stretch and stayed on mildly between horses to be denied show. SOLEVO bumped with an outer rival when the gates sprung, got shuffled back among foes approaching the five furlong pole, raced off of the pace along the inside around the turn, swung out to the five path into the lane and stayed on mildly. ACTIVITY raced at the rear along the inside, fanned out to the four to five path nearing the lane and moved up. GROUND SHAKER broke outwardly and brushed a foe at the start, tracked from the four path, got outkicked by an outer foe turning for home then faded between horses. SKYLER prompted inside of the leader, switched to apply pressure outside of that one into the turn, but steadied when put in tight quarters by an outer bidder at the five sixteenths pole and faltered. FOX CREEK lacked speed in the three to five path and got outrun.
