Footnotes
DONCHO showed the way in the two path while well in hand around the turn, responded readily when let out in upper stretch, kicked away with good energy and established a new course record. DHABAB (IRE) laid off of the pace along the inside while coming under a snug hold nearing the turn, shifted out to the three path and between horses while picking up stride into the final furlong and rallied to reach place late. MISCHIEVOUS ROGUE tracked three wide, chased four wide into the final furlong and ran on to gain show at the wire. MO STASH stalked two wide, bid at the quarter pole, but was turned away while proving no match for the leader in upper stretch, yielded and lost place and show in the final twenty yards. OCEANIC was restless in the starting gate when an inner rival acted up, tracked two wide and between horses, got keen and steadied passing the half mile pole, shifted out to the five path into upper stretch and gave way. AMERICAN MONARCH broke a beat slow, raced off of the pace two wide and failed to factor. THAT'S RIGHT laid close up along the inside, checked into the turn, stalked shortly after but chased in upper stretch and faded. MASTEROFFOXHOUNDS got fractious in the starting gate, raced at the rear along the inside and made little impact.
