Footnotes
COLLECTING brushed an outer rival at the start, tracked two wide, rallied to bid inside of the leader at the sixteenth pole and edged past. MO BEACH TIME showed the way along the inside, dueled with an outer presser around the far turn, shook free after moving to the three path in upper stretch, dug in to resist an inner challenge at the sixteenth pole but got bested late. JORGE'S ACE pressed the leader from the three path, dueled with that one around the far turn, but failed to sustain pressure after getting floated to the four path in upper stretch, kept on to sustain pursuit between horses in the final furlong and held show. VITRUVIAN MAN saved ground in midpack and stayed on to miss reaching show. AMERICAN BEAR stalked close up along the inside, moved off of the rail turning for home, took aim from the four to five path in upper stretch, but lacked progress and flattened out. GRAY IS OKAY was brushed by an inner rival and steadied back from between horses at the start, laid off of the pace in the two path, but came under strong restraint and steadied entering the backstretch, advanced three wide around the far turn, but failed to reach contention. TINGUS PINGUS broke slowly and was floated in by an outer rival at the start, raced at the rear along the inside and made little impact. GRIND leaned inwardly while off slow, lacked speed in the three path and got outrun. CONSEQUENTIAL pursued from midpack two wide, got outmoved by an outer rival around the far turn and weakened.
