VOST broke slowly while last away pulled at the rear in the three path and between horses at the half mile pole, progressed quickly five deep passing the three furlong marker, ranged up to bid while tucking to the four path at the quarter pole, forged an advantage coming to the furlong grounds and drove clear late. LA NORME DE JOUR vied for the lead with an outer pair into the turn, fought on while headed through the lane, but yielded to the clearing leader late and held place. HYPERLINK tracked three wide and between horses, then stayed on evenly while moving to the inside and saved show. EQUATOR dropped back early on, steadied while well back in the four path and between horses at the half mile pole, progressed while moving out to the six path and between horses into the lane, rallied willingly among foes and missed show between rivals. DIRECT STRIKE was urged off of the pace five to six wide early on, progressed while fanning seven wide into the lane and rallied willingly to miss show. ALPYLAND vied three wide, led turning for home, met an outer challenge at the quarter pole, fought on between rivals into the final furlong but yielded at the sixteenth pole and weakened late. SEPTEMBER SILVER chased two wide and between horses, yielded position into the turn, encountered traffic while not within contention at the furlong grounds and failed to factor. SOUTHERN SOUL broke a step slow, stalked four deep, came under rousing while getting outmoved by an outer foe turning for home and faded between horses. PETOSKEY STONES broke slowly, raced off of the pace in the two path, trailed turning for home and made little impact. YORQUICK vied two wide and between horses then weakened at the quarter pole. MARAUDER broke a step slow, tracked along the inside, chased turning for home and tired.
