Footnotes
BITE AND STRIKE stalked along the inside, bid two wide and along with an outer rival turning for home then drew off in upper stretch. COPP brushed with an outer rival early on, laid off of the pace along the inside, ran on four to three wide and between horses into the final furlong then claimed place from an outer foe late. MR BOBO pursued from midpack along the inside, gained while tipping out three to four wide to take aim turning for home, claimed place in midstretch while no match for the leader but lost that position late. WISH CAREFULLY showed the way along the inside, built a clear advantage into the backstretch, but got headed by an outer pair leaving the five sixteenths pole, yet kept on willingly thereafter. ALTIPLANO pursued from midpack two wide, fanned five wide into the lane but lacked a punch. THUNDER ROLL stalked two wide, bid three wide turning for home, but yielded to his inner counterpart in upper stretch and weakened between horses while hanging on his left lead. VIVALDI laid off of the pace three wide, but lacked a response to urging around the far turn and failed to factor. BESTBALL brushed with an inner rival early on, dropped back to lag into the first turn, rejoined the rest approaching the far turn but made little impact. WOODLANDER was brushed between horses and checked early on, laid off of the pace two wide, trailed around the far turn and got outrun. FIVE STAR G MAN tracked three wide, chased around the far turn then weakened after being floated five wide at the quarter pole. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
