Footnotes
IRON SHARPENS IRON lacked speed along the inside, saved ground progressing turning for home, paused behind a rival reaching the lane, slipped through to bid at the furlong grounds and drove clear. ANTHONIAN dueled for the lead with an inner rival while remaining in the three path, led turning for home, but hung on his left lead and got outkicked by an inner foe at the furlong grounds. GOOGOL JOKE tracked two wide and between horses, chased in the three path into the lane, tipped out but lacked a punch. ARMY HERO pursued from midpack in the four path, tucked to chase from the two path around the far turn then stayed on willingly. EXPRESS LINE prompted along the inside before easing back to stalk while moving out to the three path into the backstretch, pursued from the three to four path around the far turn, chased in the five path into the lane and gave way. GOOD MONEY dueled for the lead with an outer rival, sustained pressure while headed around the far turn but faded between horses in upper stretch. SPURGEON trailed, took the far turn in the four to five path and made little impact. STRUMMIN tracked along the inside and was done early.
