Footnotes
WHAT'S UP DOC laid off of the pace in the three path, shifted out to the five path while building momentum at the furlong grounds, rallied to bid at the sixteenth pole and drove past. HEY BOSS laid well back in the three path, advanced in the four path turning for home, sustained progress to bid along with an outer rival at the sixteenth pole but got outkicked. EASTSIDE COOL vied two wide, led around the far turn, got headed by an outer bidder entering the lane, yet kept on to reclaim show from that one late. HAYES STRIKE stalked the run-away leading pair from the three path, ranged up to bid at the five sixteenths pole, forged an advantage entering the lane, but was collared by an outer pair of bidders at the sixteenth pole, yielded between rivals late and missed show. PIKE PLACE tracked from midpack in the two path, chased between horses turning for home and pursued willingly. ONTHESTAGE saved ground off of the pace but to no avail. WINSTON WOLF raced at the rear in the two path, floated out four to five path into the lane and failed to menace. BACKGROUND was hustled to vie for the lead with an outer rival around the first turn, but faded at the five sixteenths pole and weakened between horses turning for home.
