Footnotes
NATIONAL ECLIPSE stalked three wide, pressed around the far turn, sustained striking range while getting floated four wide by an inner rival in upper stretch, bid along with that one at the sixteenth pole, sparred neck and neck through the late stages and prevailed. OVERSTATEMENT tracked along the inside, loomed a danger while stalking behind the leaders around teh far turn, tipped to take aim three wide and between foes in upper stretch, progressed to bid among rivals at the sixteenth pole, dueled with is outer counterpart through the late stages but missed. MO HOPE led narrowly from an outer prompter, vied with that one around the far turn, dueled through upper stretch, but got surpassed by a wider pair of bidders at the sixteenth pole then held show. EVENING NEWS prompted two wide, vied around the far turn, dueled into the final furlong, but yielded while getting outkicked by an outer pair at the sixteenth pole. SCHIFTY'S HALOID broke a beat slow, raced off of the pace in the three to four path and failed to menace. JOHNSON leaned inwardly and was off a step slow, trailed in the four path, moved to the six path into upper stretch and got outrun.
