LA REYNITA pressed the early pace from the two path, took charge at the three eighths, opened up by many to be much the best. ROMANY ROAD settled off the pace, steadily advanced along the inside of the backstretch, gained position three wide through the far turn but was no match for the winner, clearly second best. MALIBU SMART raced off the pace three wide, improved for the show award through the stretch. SAY I DO SADIE set the early pressured pace, conceded the lead at the three eighths, weakened in the stretch. NO MAP NEEDED led the second flight of horses until the final quarter, weakened in the stretch. LINDA FAYE was rated along the inside, failed to menace. MAYLEN was very slow to leave the gate, trailed throughout.
