LIAR'S POKER claimed an uncontested lead, began to open up in the far turn to be clear of the competition in the stretch. NOW AND LATER settled off the pace, steadily advanced three wide through the far turn to enter the stretch in second but was no match for the winner. HALF BROTHER broke a step slow and was bumped, trailed for the first half, gained position along the inside to be up for the show award. TAHOE RUN raced behind the pace on the inside, faded in the stretch. HARD TO FATHOM broke a bit outward to bump rival, raced off the pace, trailed after half, passed tired foe. GOLDEN BANDIT was rated nicely behind the pace, retreated at the quarter.
