CURAHEE opted to race in the middle of the pack three wide, moved up through the far turn to contest the lead in the upper stretch, drifted out a few paths but was still able to come up with a late surge. FACE THE FUTURE showed good early speed, challenged by rival in the upper stretch, gave way late. BERNIN TUNE tracked the pace two to three deep, showed a mild rally late but was held at bay. FLAMINGPROPOSITION was rated nicely along the inside, backed off in the far turn before angling out four wide at the quarter, closed willingly in the stretch. ITALIAN SYMPHONY raced off the pace, never threatened. TANGO MIKE MIKE shook head as the gate opened to be a step slow at the start, tried to move up along the inside but had to take a slight hold before the first turn, raced off the pace for the rest. SIR PISTOLERO trailed shortly after the start, no factor.
