GYPSAN sat behind the pace along the inside, waited patiently to find an open gap to split at the quarter, drove clear of the competition. LILY'S CREED pressed the early pace from the two path, vied for command in the far turn, entered the stretch just wide enough to allow for GYPSAN a clear path through, no match for the winner. MIDNIGHT BLAZE set the early pressured pace, vied for command through the far turn, gave way to surging rival at the quarter, weakened to third. ROLL GYPSY ROLL raced behind the pace between rivals, tipped out to enter the stretch four wide rubbing shoulders with NO COST, began drifting out in the final furlong to carry out the same rival. NO COST tracked the pace four wide, entered the stretch rubbing shoulders with ROLL GYPSY ROLL to eventually get carried out in the final furlong. DREAMY DEAL hopped at the start, trailed after the first turn, passed tired foe in the far turn. BELLA CARMELINA had a bit of an awkward start, trailed through the first turn, moved up off the pace five, retreated to trail again in the far turn. STEWARDS INQUIRY INVOLVING ROLL GYPSY ROLL AND NO COST IN THE STRETCH RUN RESULTED IN A DISQUALIFICATION OF ROLL GYPSY ROLL FROM FOURTH TO FIFTH DUE TO INTERFERENCE.
